PITA CHIPS & DIP

One of my favorite snacks! Pita chips and peanut butter!! Josephs Pita Bread bake the best and have the best macros. Believe me I've done my fair share of research and testing 😂! Macros for one pita is 9c/2f/6p/4fiber and they are 37g each. I use these for salads, afternoon snack, added texture to oats or yogurt. I'll make them sweet and savory. They are sold at Walmart and Publix!

 

Grab your pizza cutter, yes pizza cutter its necessary and makes this a breeze. Cut pita in half, tear open halves (so you will have 4 halves total) spray with Baking Pam (i love baking pam the best because it almost has a vanilla flavor to it) sprinkle cinnamon and stevia/truvia, flip and repeat. Layer 4 halves on top of each other grab pizza cutter again, cut halves in half then cut those in half until you have a bunch of tortilla chips!

OVEN @ 400 degrees and bake for 6 minutes. Once you take them out of the oven let them sit a couple min to crisp up more.

If you are low on fats you can mix half a serving of peanut butter with greek yogurt to give yourself more volume like I did here! Powdered peanut butter mixed with greek yogurt would be a great low fat alternative as well! The Trader Joes Raw Almond Butter (or any nut butter of choice) with Fage plain greek yogurt combo reminded me of the Honey Pecan Philadelphia cream cheese! 🤤👌🏼
