If you are here, my guess is you are searching for something, maybe you know what it is or maybe you don't. So let me tell you a little about myself and what I am hoping I can help you achieve.
I did not grow up being an athlete. Outside of one season of track in high school, there was nothing. In that season, I didn’t compete in races and was basically, terrible. I think it was a mix of the fear of failure and my perceived lack of ability that really held me back; College definitely followed the same trend.
But getting older, I knew I needed to stay fit and active. This occasionally led me to find fitness classes that were interesting. I basically spent my time as a "cardio bunny." I had the common fear that lifting weights would make me big, bulky, and "manly." I really enjoyed the group fitness aspect but it was ALWAYS group fitness classes; I never would branch out. There is nothing wrong with group classes but there was something wrong with me never expanding my fitness repertoire. Knowing what I know now, nothing grows in the comfort zone. Over the years I never really saw my body change into what I visualized it being and because of that, I never really stuck with anything for a long period of time.
After losing my mother in 2011, and then my father in 2013 to cancer, I knew I wanted to do something to help people, finding holistic ways to cure cancer, cure disease. I debated back and forth to go into nursing but just didn't feel the passion or drive to follow through and commit.
It was in 2014 when my passion for a healthy life truly began. I was working out at a studio that provided group fitness, of course! It was here that I was exposed to the world of bodybuilding and competing by a fellow instructor, mentor and friend. I was inspired and made the decision to compete in a NPC (National Physique Committee) competition. I always have had a fear of being in front of a crowd and speaking; the thought terrified me. I even dropped out of college because I didn't want to take the communications course! So yeah, it was bad. I figured if I could stand up in front of a crowd, wearing the smallest amount of clothing possible, I could do anything!!
I began training, learned more about nutrition, and discovered what hard work could really do for my physical and mental body. My love for fitness & nutrition has continued to grow more and more fiercely ever since.
I enjoyed the process so much that I began taking courses through the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) to pursue my Certified Personal Trainer certification, so I could grow individually and educate others. Once I obtained my CPT, I craved even more knowledge and development; this led me to obtain my FNS (Fitness Nutrition Specialist) and PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist) certification.
I have competed in 5 bikini competitions and have placed as well as 1st but I also have not done well. I truly understand all the different levels of fitness. From having no clue, to being where I know that I can help people, as others have assisted me.
Through fitness and nutrition I realized…maybe I could help people at the foundational level and prevent them from ever getting to a point of disease, sickness or really, just not loving themselves. I knew I could do this by working with them to create a healthy lifestyle, which ultimately enhances one's quality of life! This is my passion. This is my WHY.
My purpose is to help individuals find their WHY. I honestly believe that if you live a life you are passionate about, the SKY’s the limit to what you can do!

WE'VE ALL HEARD THE TERM "SKY'S THE LIMIT", BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN...WELL THAT TERM IS MY PHILOSOPHY. MY GOAL IS TO HELP EACH AND EVERYONE THAT I CAN COME IN CONTACT WITH BECOME THE BEST VERSIONS OF THEMSELVES. BE IT THROUGH, NUTRITION, FITNESS, LIFE COACHING, MOTIVATION, INSPIRATION.
